A premium ingredient in animal and pet foods, with reduced handling, flow ability and heating problems compared to other fats. High in metabolisable energy, poultry fat provides high levels of Omega 6 (linoleic acid) compared to other fats, which helps to sustain healthy skin and shiny coats. This is a “raw” poultry fat to ensure that none of the flavour qualities and nutritional value is lost through added refining. This ensures that the fat is not exposed to compounds that may be excluded from pet food producers’ requirements such as chemical antioxidants, bleaches and or surfactants.

Mixed meal shall be the combination of animal waste such as chicken and turkey heads, feet, feathers, offal carcass etc which is rendered, processed to remove oil, cooked and dried to produce a meal.

Product is manufactured from the waste from slaughter of Bovine species animals considered for human consumption. All animals are Of New Zealand origin and/or legally imported into New Zealand.
